DAY1: Arrival at entebbe Airport/ Kampala

Today you will arrive at Entebbe International Airport, you will be picked up by Xavier safari  driver/guide and he will welcome you ,exchange pleasantries and brief  you. Then he will drive you to the guest house located3.5km/2.1 miles from Entebbe International Airport.

Main destination: Entebbe

Day 2:Transfer to Jinja town

This morning you will have breakfast, then at 6:30 am,  your driver guide  will transfer you to Jinja town south eastern Uganda, on the shore of Lake Victoria. You will have a stop over to Mabira rain forest famously known for receiving rainfall all year round, having the oldest and rarest tree species, having most virgin areas that have never been affected by man’s activities. It is a home to endangered animals such as Duikers, Bushbucks, Squirrels, Red-tailed Monkeys, and the Uganda Mangabey a primate which is found only in Uganda.

  and to 316 bird species, 219 butterflies, 97 moths and 35 species of small mammals  After this tour you will head to jinja to catch the  motor boat to go visit the source of the Nile. After the source of the Nile boat your driver guide will drive you back to Kampala for a good night sleep..

Final Destination: Jinja Town/ Kampala

DAY 3: Kampala city tour and Ndere cultural musical experience.

Today is a gorgeous day for you. your driver/guide will pick you up from the guest house and take you to Kampala city for a city tour. you will tour Gaddafi Mosque Uganda’s National Mosque which is the largest mosque in East Africa, then later tour Buganda Kingdom palace and Buganda kingdom parliament as well as Rubaga Cathedral and lastly go craft shopping at National theater craft center and Buganda road craft village.  you will have Ugandan local food at one of the restaurant in Kampala city. late in the evening you will go for a cultural music festival at Ndere cultural center. After the cultural entertainment, your driver guide  will drive you back to forest cottages for a good night sleep.

Day 4:Mabamba Swamp adventure/ Mburo. 

This morning after breakfast, check out of Forest cottages. Then your drive guide will drive you to Mabamba swamp which is located  in Mpigi district along  showers of lake victoria. Mabamba swamp is a home to hippopotamus, tilapia fish and lots of bird species and not to forget the famous Shoebill stork that attracts hundreds of tourists from allover the world, This exclusive shoebill stork is one of the rare to see birds in Africa and is one of the famous birds of Uganda to look out for on your Uganda safari. Upon arrival you will be briefed by Mabamba swamp local bird guide, later  board the locally hand made engine boat and sail in search of wildlife within Mabamba swamp. this activity ranges between 1.5 hours to 2 hours.

After Mabamba Swamp your driver will be then transfer you to Lake Mburo national park a home to animals like Buffaloes, Impalas, Zebras, Elands, Warthogs Giraffes , leopard and Hippos, with a short stop at the  the equator in Kayabwe Mpigi District, the equator is approximately 63.9 kilometers(39 miles from Mabamba swamp by road. You will experience one of the warmest temperatures while at the Equator as you position yourself in the middle of the world. don’t forget it’s a coffee and craft, souvenir shopping  center. here you will witness a water experiment to show the rotation of the rotation of the earth  and it gives rise to an effect that tends to accelerate draining water in a clockwise direction in the Northern hemisphere and counterclockwise in the Southern hemisphere. After the equator you will continue your journey to lake Mburo national park, arriving to the lodge late evening.

Day 5:Lake Mburo National Park

This morning you will wake up and get ready for breakfast. After breakfast you will go for a morning nature Game game walk with a park ranger to look out for zebra, giraffe, buffalo, impala and leopard then after the game walk you will head back to the  lodge for  lunch. after lunch you will have this afternoon to your selves by the swimming pool.

Activity: Morning Bush walk& afternoon relaxing time.

Day 6: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National park- Ishasha

Today you will have sunrise breakfast, after breakfast you will check out of rwakobo rock lodge and head to Queen Elizabeth national  park ishasha sector, on arrival to ishasha you will have have a game drive to look for mammals like Topis, buffaloes, elephants, leopard lions and hippopotamus. you will have lunch within the park and later continue with the game drive within the park as you head to east south of the park as the sun sets.

Activity: transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park& afternoon game drive.

Day 7: Queen Elizabeth National park

This morning you will wake up before sun rise, have break fast. then your driver guide will take you for a game drive at Kasenyi area, you will look for animals like Elephants, Uganda Kobs, lions, leopard, waterbuck Buffaloes, and lots of bird life, you will visit one of the salt lakes during the game drive, after the game drive, your driver guide will take you for lunch then later a boat cruise on kazinga channel. during the boat cruise you will see lots of hippo schools, Elephants and a lot of water birds by the  channel. this boat cruise is very good not to miss it. it’s the highlight of the day.

Day 8: Transfer to Murchison falls National park

 This morning you have your breakfast and embark on a transfer journey to Murchison Falls National Park  one of the most visited parks in Uganda, best known, though, for the most powerful waterfall in the world, the falls water squeezes through a gorge less than seven meters wide..

The park is a home to animals like Giraffes, Buffaloes, Uganda kobs, Bushbucks, Elephants, Hartebeests, Oribs, waterbucks, warthogs, hyenas, Hippopotamus, lions, leopards and habitant for birds like Abyssinian ground hornbill, African jacana, African quail finch, Black-billed barbet, Black-headed gonolek, Black headed lapwing, Blue-headed coucal, Denham’s bustard, Eastern grey plantain-eater. Giant kingfisher, Goliath heron, Malachite kingfisher, Palm-nut vulture, Piacpiac, Red-throated bee-eater, Shoebill, Silverbird, Speckle-fronted weaver, Squacco heron, Swamp flycatcher, White-browed sparrow-weaver

Day 9:Murchison falls National park

Before sunrise this morning you will wake up , have hot breakfast, after Breakfast your driver guide will take you  for a morning game drive to look  for animals like Lions, leopards, Giraffes, Buffaloes, Uganda kobs, Bushbucks, Elephants, Hartebeests, Oribs, waterbucks, warthogs. And some birds like Speckle-fronted weaver, Squacco heron,

Goliath heron, Malachite kingfisher, Palm-nut vulture, Piacpiac, Blue-headed coucal, Denham’s bustard and many more,at12:00 am after game drive you  will have lunch at the lodge then after lunch you will go for a boat cruise on victoria Nile to look for animals like Nile crocodiles, hippopotamus and the great Murchison falls later return to the lodge for dinner and a good nights’ sleep.

 this morning you will wake up early, have   sunrise breakfast and after breakfast your driver guide will drive you to the boat pier to catch your boat for the The delta adventure boat cruise is awesome and terrific for you will be able to see lion, crocodiles , elephants, buffalos, Uganda kobs, hartebeest, waterbucks, giraffes, hippos, shoe bill and different species of birds.

Day 11: Ziwa Rhino/Transfer to Entebbe

This Morning you will have breakfast and transfer to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary a home to the white Rhinos living freely in the wilderness, on arrival your driver/ guide will register you and later you will be briefed by the sanctuary ranger guide. after the briefing you will head for a rhino trekking on foot with a ranger. after rhino trekking, you will continue your journey back to Entebbe
